GEO 0010 - PRINCIPLES OF ASTRONOMY

The course explores stellar evolution, observational astronomy, the Solar System, planetary geology, and some broader topics in cosmology. Historical perspectives and modern discoveries will be covered. Assignments and class exercises expose the student to practical methods of astronomy and utilize basic math skills of algebra and trigonometry.
