Conventions of scientific writing are introduced and applied to the preparation of environmental and geologic reports. Covers use of various types of software and web-based resources used in geologic research and report writing. Students will complete resumes, cover letters, and environmental reports. An independent research project that includes poster, oral, and written presentations are required.
