The United States National Park system is a wonderful setting to learn about nature, geology, and conservationism. This course explores the US National Parks by examining the geologic principles on display and the management systems enacted for their preservation. The history of the parks system and the parks themselves is covered. This is a fun way to learn about the processes that shape the world around you.
